Peter Hammill said that He handle "Enter K" and "Patience" as a entirety and I think He was a quite right. Both albums are very comparable in many aspects, so I'm really astonish in the fact, that "Patience" is a much popular LP. Just take a look at the songs like "The unconscious life /5(5).

Peter Hammill's second solo album represents one of the absolute masterpieces in the history of author rock for three factors: the songwriting, which features existentialist texts of a complexity and depth that only very few can afford; the musical score, both in terms of writing and arrangements; the performance of the musicians, in particular the superlative vocal performance of Hammill.

Featuring the sublime melancholy of Don't Tell Me, the bristling energy of Accidents, and the twists and turns of epic closer Happy Hour, Enter K is the first in a series of Peter Hammill vinyl reissues. Hammill writes - "Enter K is very much a hybrid set of recordings which makes up a pair with 's Patience.

Massively underrated album from Hammill, during his 'K Group' era. It contains some of what I consider his greatest songs: The Unconscious Life' and 'Accidents' in particular. Because of the band makeup it has a VDGG feel to it, and though it has a couple of mediocre tracks, nothing is bad, and the best tracks make it a must-have, IMHO/5.
